Open a free sorting-house account and complete six checks: company, owners, licences, bank, premises and references.
Send your stock
A stock list, a WhatsApp message or the form: catalog item, grade, season, bale count and weight, your price to Ragtrail and photos.
Ragtrail lists it
We check the description, set the Ragtrail selling price, write what buyers read and hide any photo that shows your name.
Verified buyers enquire
Resellers send bales wanted, target price and destination. You are told where buyers are, never who they are.
Contract and collection
Ragtrail agrees terms with the buyer, issues the contract and document pack, and arranges collection with you.
You get paid
You are paid the price you agreed with Ragtrail, as set out in your contract with us.
§ 04Grades we list
Say what the stock is. We check it.
Pick the grade that matches the bale. If you have not graded it, say so: honest descriptions sell faster and avoid claims.
CreamThe best of the sort: near-new pieces and stronger brands, picked by hand.
Number 1Good condition, light wear, no visible faults. The grade most markets ask for.
Number 2Clear signs of wear or small faults, priced for value markets.
Number 3Heavier wear, sold by weight for the lowest-price markets.
OtherA grade outside the usual scale, such as a market-specific sort. The listing explains it.
Mixed gradesMore than one grade in the lot, with the split stated per bale.
Not supplier gradedSold as the seller received it. No grading claim is made.
Not assessedNot yet inspected by Ragtrail. Buy on the description and photos.

§ 05What stays private
Your name is not on the listing.
Ragtrail buys from you and sells in its own name, so buyers cannot go around you, and you cannot be undercut by your own price.
